Among Us: the confinement phenomenon game arrives on Nintendo Switch

Two years to the day after its release on PC, iOS and Android, Among Us has just landed on Nintendo Switch. An announcement which was made on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at the end of the Nintendo Direct devoted entirely to independent games, the Indie World Showcase, and which had been teased as the famous "one more thing" to close the online event as it must. Unfortunately, unlike the other versions already available, you will have to put your hand in your pocket to get the game, since it is sold for €4,29 on the eShop, while it is offered for €3,99 on PC. and is free on mobiles. The good news, however, is that the game will benefit from cross-play, which means that players on Nintendo Switch will be able to compete against those on PC, iOS and Android.

We remember all the same that Among Us is a game released in 2018 and which then did not have the aura it has today. It became popular worldwide during the first lockdown following the interest of Twitchers who made it the multi party game to do with friends remotely. The principle of the game takes more or less that of the Werewolf game since the objective is to identify the impostors who kill the other members of the crew without being seen. Added to this are the objectives to be achieved within the spaceship and the game then takes on the appearance of a great ultra enjoyable video game masquerade. Its arrival on the Nintendo console should allow it to explode even more in terms of popularity.
