A few days ago, Microids announced the arrival of physical versions of Cuphead after 5 years of waiting. Unfortunately, it was immediately a cold shower when we discovered the packaging, the cover and the bonuses delivered with it. We're not going to lie to each other, the French version is maddeningly cheap. Fortunately, there is another version on the other side of the Channel thanks to the little guys at iam8bit, who specialize in collector's versions and beautiful objects. The latter announced a limited edition at $199,99 and in which we find a real puppet 20,3 cm high and made by hand. Indeed, it was the craftsmen of Rici Marionettes, based in Praque, who were responsible for producing this articulated statuette according to the rules of the art. This one is accompanied by a transformable box (of superior quality) to stage the puppet and create a kind of small theater. There is also a small mechanical hand-cranked music box, a fold-out poster, cardboard index cards and a vintage cardboard box as a steelbook. The set is really beautiful and quantities are limited. You know what you have left to do.
