The composition Kai'Sa de Teamfight Tactics can be one of the most powerful in the game, provided you have the right Mutation to play it.

The Kai'Sa and Dr. Mundo composition with Mutant
Kai'Sa can be an excellent carry, dealing huge area of effect magic damage, but very much depends on the Mutation Of the game. It is preferred with Void Cry (for pure damage and execution), with Ravenous appetite (especially if you have Training Dummies for more AP and AD) or with Metamorphosis for offensive and defensive stats. It can also be considered with Cybernetic adaptation ou Hyper-adrenal glands.
This composition is not the most flexible, almost always playing 5 Mutants whose Cho'Gath which takes up two slots. You can usually use either the latter or Dr. World in main tank.
Unfolding and passages of levels
Here usually the rounds in which you want to level up. Those marked with a * are to be preferred if you are in a winning streak so you can play more aggressively.
4 level : Round 2-3 (or 2-1*)
5 level : Round 2-7 (or 2-5*)
6 level : Round 3-2 (or 3-1*)
7 level : Round 4-1 (or 3-5*)
8 level : Round 5-1 (or 4-5*)
Le 9 level can be a victory condition but is not mandatory in this composition.

Kai'Sa (carry principal)
Kai'Sa relies on his attack speed to deal damage, knowing that each attack increases the damage of his next spell. She benefits froma mix of attack speed, magic power and defense items.

morellonomicon : Anti-care and burning are interesting with this composition. The Solar Cape can go on any of your tanks, and the morellonomicon can be carried by Viktor ou Malzahar.

Chalice of Power : When you play Kai'Sa in carry, you can protect her or improve her DPS with support items on Malzahar for example.
Items for Malzahar : If you have a lot of components for magic damage / mana generation items, you can make Malzahar your secondary carry.
Best Hextech Augments
Always try to choose a Hextech Augmentation based on what you need : generally at the beginning of the game it is appropriate to take a generic Augment since you do not yet know what you are going to play, and then you should try to reinforce the strengths of your composition.

Phony Frontline : Training Dummies are very relevant if the game's Mutation is Ravenous Appetite, allowing you to gain additional stats when they die.
Celestial Blessing / Thrill of the Hunt : HP regeneration can help your Kai'Sa and allow you to play it without defensive items.
Instant injection : This increase improves your Techno-chemists, in particular Dr. Mundo.
Unstable evolution : This increase increases the effectiveness of your Mutants.
obviously a lot of Hextech Augmentations are interesting, including ones that give you Emblems or count as additional characters to boost your traits.

Kai'Sa: Position your Kai'Sa in a place where she is not worried before casting her spell, being careful of the Assassins. If you have aura items, put it next.
Frontline : The positioning is pretty simple: you want your tanks in the front line most of the time, unless you're playing against a lot of Assassins in which case you can back them up to protect Kai'Sa.
