When do Fortnite challenges come out?

When do Fortnite challenges come out?

Weekly challenges have been a part of Fortnite since the very early days. When a new season arrives, we usually receive 10 weeks of it, which is supposed to cover most of the season. Most of the time, however, seasons get longer and additional challenges will be added to the game.

Fortnite Challenges release weekly on Thursday at 6am. Only when they're available, which is usually the original ten weeks in the Battle Pass. You will sometimes see additional challenges added to the game after the first run, these will give you extra XP and sometimes will give you new styles for your skins!

Here is an overview of some other time zones and what time they will start in your area:

    • 8am CDT (Central Time)
    • 9 a.m. EDT (Eastern Time)
    • 14pm BST (UK time)

Challenges vary widely in terms of what you'll need to do to complete them. Some require you to collect items such as chests, ammo boxes, or a unique item that Epic has placed on the map. You'll also have plenty of elimination-based challenges, which require you to be in a certain area. These are usually best done in Team Rumble when possible! There have also been quite a few challenges that require you to deal with henchmen that can be found all over the map. These NPCs are easy to take down, but if you get caught without weapons or resources, you could be in trouble!

We're currently in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 3, which features the standard 10 weeks of challenges. We don't know yet if anything will be delayed, but due to the cars being delayed for so long, you can definitely expect some additional challenges to be added to the game once the final week is over!
